Zetasizer range

The world’s most widely-used systems for nanoparticle, colloid and protein size and charge measurements

Instruments in the Zetasizer range are used to measure particle and molecular size from less than a nanometer to several microns using dynamic light scattering; zeta potential and electrophoretic mobility using electrophoretic light scattering; and molecular weight using static light scattering. The Zetasizer system is available in a range of variants, including the new Zetasizer Pro and Ultra. These two new systems offer unprecedented ease-of-use and flexibility, along with empowering user guidance and novel measurement techniques such as MADLS® and Particle Concentration.

Zetasizer Range of Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) Systems:

In addition to the 2 newest models in the Zetasizer range – The Zetasizer Ultra and the Zetasizer Pro – there are the Zetasizer Nano family of products.  The world’s most widely used system, the Zetasizer Nano ZS, is used for the measurement of colloidal size, electrophoretic mobility, and zeta potential of colloids and nanoparticles, and optionally the measurement of microrheology of polymeric solutions. The high performance of the Zetasizer Nano ZS also enables the measurement of the molecular weight and second virial coefficient, A2, of macromolecules and kD, the DLS interaction parameter.  The Zetasizer Nano S is a research grade dynamic light scattering system for sub-micron particle and molecular size and molecular weight measurement that combines performance and versatility with exceptional ease of use. The system can be upgraded to add zeta potential capability at a later date.
